Early Life & Challenges
Born and raised in Laheriyaganj, Bihar, Shanti Devi was introduced to Mithila art during her childhood. Growing up in a traditional community, she observed women painting walls and floors during festivals, which sparked her passion for the Godna style. Without formal training, she mastered the craft through observation and practice, blending cultural heritage with her own creativity.
